Paperwork Reduction Act, we have only approved a one year extension
for these existing information collection requirements, listed at
29 CFR Part 29. The agency has not demonstrated why it will require
more than one year to incorporate comments about its NPRM,
published on August 24, 1990, and proceed with final rulemaking on
29 CFR 29 regulations.

SAFEGUARD THE WELFARE OF APPRENTICES AND EXTEND THE APPLICATION OF
SUCH STANDARDS BY SUBSCRIBING POLICIES AND PROCEDURES CONCERNING
THE REGISTRATION FOR CERTAIN FEDERAL PURPOSES OF ACCEPTABLE
APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMS.
