Abstract: THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES FORMULA GRANTS TO CITIES, COUNTIES, STATES, AND TERRITORIES (AND COMPETITIVE GRANTS TO INDIAN TRIBES) FOR THE FOLLOWIN ACTIVITIES RELATING TO PROVIDING EMERGENCY SHELTER TO THE HOMELESS. ELIGIBLE ACTIVITES INCLUDE REHABILITATION, ESSENTIAL SOCIAL SERVICES, OPERATING COSTS, AND HOMELESS PREVENTION. THE INFORMATION COLLECTED WILL BE USED TO ENSURE GRANTEES COMPLY WITH THE PROGRAM'S STATUTORY
