Abstract: THE MOURNING DOVE CALL-COUNT SURVEY IS CONDUCTED ANNUALLY TO ASSESS TH POPULATION STATUS OF THE MOURNING DOVE, AN IMPORTANT MIGRATORY GAME BIRD. THE SURVEY DATA ARE ANALYZED, AND THE RESULTING ASSESSMENT OF T POPULATION STATUS SERVES TO GUIDE THE ANNUAL PROMULGATION OF REGULATIO FOR HUNTING THE SPECIES.
