Abstract: REGULATIONS WITHIN PART 3100-3120 AND 3150 OF TITLE 43, CODE OF FEDERA REGULATIONS, CONTAIN PROCEDURES FOR OBTAINING A LEASE TO EXPLORE FOR, DEVELOP, AND PRODUCE OIL AND GAS RESOURCES ON FEDERAL LANDS. THE BURE OF LAND MANAGEMENT NEEDS THE INFORMATION TO PROPERLY IMPLEMENT THE PROCEDURES FOR ISSUING AND MONITORING OIL AND GAS LEASES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAW.
