collection is approved until December 31, 1993. In its planned
reconsideration of MM Docket No. 90-162, the FCC shall reexamine
its requirements for reporting on the the respondents' financial
interests in programming aquired prior to 1970; program- ming
produced solely in-house in which they retain foreign synd- ication
rights, and foreign broadcast stations to whom they have sold, or
may sell programming produced solely in-house. Also, the FCC
should, in consultation with the respondents, reestimate the
reporting burden associated with the information collection.

SECTION 73.352(A)(11) REQUIRES
COMMERCIAL TELEVISION STATIONS OWNED BY NETWORK TO MAINTAIN IN
THEIR PUBLIC INSPECTION FILES THE REPORTS IDENTIFIED IN SECTION
73.661. THE REPORTING REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 73.661 WILL DETER
POSSIBLE ANTICOMPETITION BEHAVIOR BY THE NETWORKS. THE DATA WILL BE
USED BY THE PUBLIC AND FCC IN CONFIRMING NETWORK COMPLIANCE WITH
OUR MODIFIED FINANCIAL INTEREST AND SYNDICATION RULES.
