Abstract: THE INFORMATION CONTAINED ON THE STRUCTURE AND INVENTORY APPRAISAL SHE IS NEEDED TO KEEP THE NATIONAL BRIDGE INVENTORY ACCURATE, TO KNOW THE PHYSICAL CONDITIONS OF ALL HIGHWAY BRIDGES, AND AS A BASIS FOR APPORTIONING FEDERAL FUNDS TO THE STATE HIGHWAY AGENCIES ASSOCIATED WI THE HIGHWAY BRIDGE REPLACEMENT AND REHABILITATION PROGRAM.
