NSF's initial
burden estimate for respondents was incorrect. It did not take all
3 programs in the package into consideration. Consequently, OMB
approves the package with the amended burden request reflected in
NSF's correspondence of July 26, 1995. That same correspondence
contains a discussion of the additional consultations undertaken
for each program prior to OMB submission. In addition, NSF added a
disclaimer to the Statewide Systemic Initiative's package,
informally detailed in their fax of August 8, 1995. A more formal
submission of the addition will follow.
