The regulations within Part 3100-3120
and 3150 of Title 43 of the Code of Federal Regulations contain
procedures for obtaining a lease to explore for, develop and
produce oil and gas resources on Federal lands. The Bureau of Land
Management needs the information to properly implement the
procedures for issuing and monitoring oil and leases in accordance
with the law. Respondents are oil and gas companies, operators, and
indivduals.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
