Abstract: The Department of Education has a need for high quality, research-based projects to prevent drug use by youth; remove weapons from schools; prevent truancy and other behaviors that result in youth being out of the education mainstream; and prevent violent, intimidating, and disruptive behavior among youth. Information collected will be used to evaluate applications from public and private nonprofit institutions and individuals.
