The NES School-to-Work Supplement will
investigate workplace practices and policies to identify what works
best in establishing and maintaining an effective and efficient
work force. The survey results will be used to evaluate the impacts
of school-to-work programs on certain aspects of the performance of
participating firms. The survey information will help the sponsor,
IHRE, and other concerned organizations to determine how our
Nation's firms and schools can improve their effectiveness through
school-to-work programs such as cooperative education,
apprenticeships, and mentors.
