Terms of Clearance: This information collection request is approved consistent with FNS' agreement to make the following revisions to QC Guidance in 10/2001: (1) update vehicle codes to be consistent with NECP rule changes (2) correct error that classifies energy assistance as earned income (3) submit change pages to OMB after changes are made. FNS also agrees to update the classification of race & ethnicity to conform to OMB guidance issued 10/1997. Because this collection is tied to 0584-0025 (Food Stamp application), FNS is given until 10/2003 to complete the implementation of these new categories, at which time the collection should be resubmitted to OMB for approval.
