approved as FTA has not issued a final rule. The agency may
continue to collect information associated with its current rule.

The information collection burdens are
required components of U.S. DOT's Metropolitan and Statewide
Transportation Planning Programs and are necessary precursors to
the provision of federal financial assistance to states for
transportation planning, operations and capital
investments.
