Abstract: National Science Foundation's Division of Science Studies needs to collect timely data on constant changes in the science and technology (S&T) sector and to provide the information to policy makers in Congress and throughout the Government. SRS will sponsor quick response surveys and workshops on S&T subjects, perform cognitive testing to improve survey methodology and questionnaires, and pretest questions for future large-scale surveys. The respondents will be from industry, academia, other nonprofit organizations, Federal agencies, and the public.
