Consistent with
OMB's procedures for review of customer satisfaction surveys under
a generic clearance, OMB will review future INS submissions under
this generic clearance within 10 working days. Future submissions
must contain a list of the new surveys and those that will continue
to be used under the submission. Additionally, INS must include
relevant supporting materials regarding cost and hour burden,
survey methodology, and response rates.

The DHS in accordance with the
requirements of E.O. 12862 and the GPRA, wishes to conduct customer
service surveys. The purpose of such surveys is to assess needs,
identify problems, and plan for programmatic improvements in the
delivery of immigration service.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
