The primary purposes of the Omnibus
Household Survey are: (1) To determine the public's level of
satisfaction with the nation's transportation system in light of
the Department's strategic objectives, (2) to determine the
public's satisfaction with the Department of Transportation
products and services; and (3) to survey the public about specific
Operating Administration issues.
