The Clean Air Act requires gasoline to
contain detergent addi- tives. Certification requirements for
detergent manufacturers are at 40 CFR Part 80, subpart G, and
require reporting certain information to the Agency. There are
recordkeeping requirements for blenders of detergents into gasoline
to ensure that effec- tive concentration are used.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
