49 CFR parts 1542 and 1544, formerly
FAR parts 107 and 108, require airports and air carriers to comply
with hiring and employment standards as well as maintain security
training records. Part 1542 records outline completion of training
requirements for those employees with access privileges to secure
areas of an airport. Part 1544 records outline completion of
training and evaluation records for certain security
personnel.
