Abstract: To document and understand the range of efforts states are employing to enhance the Food Stamp Program (FSP) certification process and to modernize FSP administration, FNS has developed a national inventory of FSP modernization efforts in all states; document FSP features and outcomes associated with modernization; describe and compare techniques states are using; identify promising practices; and create a single source of information on FSP modernization through surveys, discussion groups, interviews, and site studies.
