Sec. 5(a) & 7(f)(1) of USGSA and
Secs. 203(h) & 205(a) of AMA mandate that upon request of other
branches of the Government, State agencies, or private interests,
USDA shall inspect, certify & identify the class, quality,
quantity & condition of agricultural products shipped or
received in interstate & foreign commerce. Also, that USDA may
enter contracts to provide services.
There was an increase in the
burden of 5,242 hours because of improved marketing conditions for
grain movements increased this period over last therefore
increasing our overall responses per respondents, increasing the
number of certificates and work records produced this reporting
period versus the last period. Also form FGIS 921-2 was merged into
this collection.
