In accordance
with 5 CFR 1320, the information collection is approved for two
years. GIPSA should track the burden of the revised collection to
ensure that the revised burden is accurate. In addition, GIPSA
should work toward creating an online option for this collection to
reduce the burden on the public. Within six months, GIPSA should
develop and provide a plan to OMB for web-based implementation. The
plan should include a timeline for implementation.

producers and poultry growers and others in the livestock,
meatpacking, and poultry industries.

The reason for this burden
increase is due to Packers and Stockyards
consolidating/revising/redesigning several of their forms which
reduced the number of forms but increased the burden to the newly
established forms.
