This is the third of three clearance requests submitted to OMB for the National Evaluation of the Comprehensive Technical Assistance Centers (“Centers”). This submission is necessitated because the National Center for Education Evaluation and Regional Assistance (NCEE), a division of the Institute for Education Sciences, U.S. Department of Education (ED), exercised an Option within the Base Contract in 2008 to conduct Case Studies of Comprehensive Center Technical Assistance. The Case Studies will focus on the extent to which such assistance has resulted in enhanced State Education Agency (SEA) capacity to implement key No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) provisions.
