HPMS monitors federal aid programs, assesses the condition, performance and use of the nations streets and highways. Provides travel estimates for air quality assessments and data for the apportionment of federal funds.
Estimates for the data respondents increased due to the HPMS program activities pertaining to the reassessment effort of this program. The reassessed HPMS will incorporate a new geospatial data base and will require additional effort and time in transitioning from the current requirements and software.
