The Wendell H. Ford Aviation Act for the 21st Century requires, among other things, that the Department review all complaints that airlines receive from passengers alleging discrimination on the basis of disability. The Department is also required to submit an annual report to Congress indicating the results of such review. The substance of this report is based on the data submitted to the Department by the air carriers. Air carriers are required to submit a report to the Department annually.
