Abstract: In 2007 and 2009, CDC conducted the Maternity Practices in Infant Care and Nutrition (mPINC) survey. The survey collected information from intrapartum facilities, such as hospitals and birth centers, about institutional practices supporting breastfeeding. CDC proposes to conduct a follow-up mPINC survey in 2011 to assess changes in practices.
