To develop a new national public service advertising campaing to educate the public about the importance of safe food handling and how to reduce the risks associated with foodborne illness.
The Food Safety Education Campaign is a vital food safety education effort. Because FSIS and other Federal agencies are working with the Ad Council this campaign will receive hundreds of thousands of dollars of donated expertise and media time. It is crucial that the creative concept research occur now to ensure that the campaign receaches it full potential to educate the American public.
