This ICR addresses the information, data collection, and record keeping requirements applicable (primarily) to manufacturers or sellers of air pollutant monitoring devices or methods, who seek to have such devices or methods reviewed and considered by EPA for designation as reference or equivalent methods under regulations at 40 CFR part 53. Such designation authorizes the devices or methods to be used by States in their EPA-required ambient air quality surveillance networks.
