Prior to the
commencement of the Quarterly Survey of Payment Card and Bank Card
Transactions Related to International Travel (BE-150)form
distribution, the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) shall provide
on its Internet site prominent links to a complete set of finalized
survey forms, including instructions and cover letters. The final
forms and letters shall reflect any changes in the survey year, OMB
number expiration date, and BEA leadership from those submitted for
review.

This action would amend 15 CFR Part
801 to provide for the conduct of new quarterly survey to collect
data from major U.S. credit card and personal identification
number- based network companies on cross-border transactions
between U.S. cardholders traveling abroad and foreign businesses
and between foreign cardholders traveling in the United States and
U.S. businesses.
BEA added personal
identification number-based data networks to close a gap in
coverage of payment card and bank card transactions related to
international travel.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
