Customer Satisfaction Survey – The USGS Landslide Handbook

PURPOSE:

To obtain feedback from users of the current version of the Landslide Handbook. The feedback will be used in the preparation of a revised version of the Handbook, in order to make the revised version more valuable to users.

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONDENTS:

87 persons who have received the current version of the Landslide Handbook. The respondents are a mix of primarily researchers, educators, and emergency service managers.

The USGS Landslide Hazards Program Office has a list of 87 persons to whom they have sent the Landslide Handbook. The survey request will be sent to all 87 recipients. Of this population, we expect 50 to respond. This is not a complete enumeration of all users of the Handbook, but it is thought to be a reasonable collection of persons with serious interest in the Handbook, who will be able to make useful suggestions for its improvement. The respondents are a combination of researchers, educators, and emergency service managers.
