Short Statement: There is a decrease in respondents offset by an increase in public demand for plant variety protection increasing the number of applications, and the addition of two new varieties being added to the Exhibit C GPEA List increased burden by 355 hours since the last submission. The increase in responses (per respondent) was offset by the discontinuation of Exhibit F and fewer responses for a letter requesting an Extension of Time for a Reply resulting in an overall decrease of -475 responses.
