Drivers applying for a commercial
drivers license (CDL) must obtain training on certain topics. The
applicant must present his employer/motor carrier with a
certificate executed by a qualified trainer and indicating
successful completion of such training. These requirements appear
at 49 CFR 380.501 et seq.
