This is the submission of the results from the cognitive round of testing along with the revised questionnaire that will be used in the second phase of the test in conjunction with the October survey as described below. NASS is submitting this non-substantive change request for testing the comparability of the farm labor categories used by NASS with the Dept. of Labor's Standard Occupational Codes (SOC). Prior to the operational labor survey that will be conducted in October, 2013. NASS would like to do a cognitive interview of 25 – 30 operators who responded to the April 2013 labor survey. Based on the information that is gathered during this phase of testing, NASS will develop a supplemental questionnaire to use in October 2013 during the live survey.
