Abstract: 33 USC 494,502,511,513,514, 515, 516, 517, 521, 522, 523 and 524 authorize Commandant to determine if a bridge is an unreasonable obstruction to navigation and can require plans and specifications from bridge owner to apportion costs between U.S. and bridge owner and use as starting point for bridge alteration project.
