The 2014 Farm Bill expanded the
Farmers Market Promotion Program to provide funding opportunities
for projects that develop, improve, and expand local and regional
food business enterprises that process, distribute, aggregate or
store locally or regionally produced food products to eligible
entities for grants under the Local Food Promotion Program
(LFPP).

Since the Emergency approval,
there is an increase in respondents for the Reviewer Qualification
Form and the Review Conflict of Interest Form. These forms will be
used by both the Local Food Promotion Program and the Farmers
Market Promotion Program increasing the burden by 38 hours . Also,
since the emergency approval the hours respondents spend on SAM.gov
were recalculated from 8 hours per response to 1 hour per response
for a decrease of -10,500 burden hours; correcting a per response
decimal typo from 3 hours to 30 minutes for a reduction of 3,750
hours. These changes resulted in an overall decrease of -14,212
hours for this submission.
