The Electronic Records Express (ERE) Third-Party gives representatives of disability claimants full electronic access to their clients' disability files. The ICR includes registration to use the system and the access/request screens third parties must use each time they make a request from the system. Third-party representatives can also download audio versions, when available, of their client's disability files.
The increase in the burden hours is due to an increase in the number of users accessing this information electronically through ERE. We anticipate further increases as more third party appointed representatives choose to obtain this information electronically through ERE.
