Selecting Participants for Salesforce Usability Testing
All ten participants for the Salesforce usability testing will be selected randomly.
Process
Step One: OoC will list all 40 FY 2015 grantees alphabetically in a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.
Step Two: Using a random sequence generator, OoC will generate a randomized sequence of integers (1-40) and assign them to the alphabetized grantee list using a new column.
Step Three: Again, using the random sequence generator, OoC will generate a randomized sequence of integers (1-40) and take the first number in the sequence as the starting point for the random participant selection.
Step Four: Starting with the number provided in Step Three, OoC will select every fourth grantee in the list until there are ten selections.
