Title of Information Collection

Information Submission Website: Double-crested Cormorant and Free-Swimming Fish Data, Reports, and Comments
Purpose
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) is working with DJ Case (contractor) to develop a web-based online repository geared
towards collecting information from stakeholders (Tribal, State, and Federal Agency personnel only) about their viewpoints regarding
the relationship between double-crested cormorant (Phalacrocorax auritus) and free-swimming fish. Information collected will be used
to assess the scope of the best available data relating to double-crested cormorant and free-swimming fish populations. This
web-based collection system will be provided to a list of invitees to four regional meetings hosted by the Service in August 2018 to
address this issue.
Summary data, raw data, reports, peer reviewed literature, comments, or suggested websites would be collected through an online
form made available to invitees to these meetings as an efficient means of collecting this type of information, rather than asking
meeting participants to deliver hard copies. Submission of information will be entirely voluntary, and the website will be open for 60
days.

Description of Respondents
Personnel from federally recognized tribes, state wildlife agencies, state fisheries agencies, USDA APHIS-Wildlife Services, and other
participating federal agencies.
