This information collection is
associated with the maritime security requirements mandated by the
Maritime Transportation Security Act (MTSA) of 2002. Security
assessments, security plans and other security-related requirements
are found in Title 33 CFR Subchapter H, and 33 CFR Parts 120 and
128.
The change (i.e., increase) in
burden is a PROGRAM CHANGE due to the 1625-AC15, Seafarers' Access
to Maritime Facilities rulemaking. The modification of FSP for
seafarers' access is a one-time submission. The methodology for
calculation burden remains unchanged. There is no proposed change
to the recordkeeping requirements of this collection. The
recordkeeping requirements, and the methodology for calculating
burden, remain unchanged.
