The decrease in burden hours for this information collection is primarily a result of OFCCP’s decision to use data from the Employer Information Report EEO-1 (EEO-1 Report) to determine the number of covered federal contractors and contractor establishments. Previously, OFCCP averaged data from multiple sources but that methodology resulted in an overestimation of the number of affected contractors. The EEO-1 Report provides a more accurate estimate of contractors and establishments covered by VEVRAA.
