OMB continues to
encourage CBP toward the automation of this form. We also welcome
CBP's efforts to work with the Coast Guard to eliminate duplicative
information collections. CBP will be eligible for a three year
renewal once this form can be collected electronically and once CBP
and the Coast Guard have worked together to address the duplication
in their collections.
