The objective of the case study is to
evaluate the accuracy of the school meals benefit determination
process nationwide, note the results and how they compare to the
results from a similar FNS study from 2004, and discuss policy
implications of the findings.

This is a new information
collection request for the Study of Non-Response to the School
Meals Application Verification Process. This request will add 5,535
burden hours and 15,072 responses to OMB's inventory as a program
change.
