The Teaching Civics and Citizenship to Immigrants Seminar Follow-Up Participant Survey
AUTHORITIES: The information requested on this form is collected under the Homeland Security Act of 2002, Section 451(f) (2), Public Law 107-296.
PURPOSE: The primary purpose for providing the requested information on this form is to provide feedback on the topics discussed in this training that will assist the USCIS Office of Citizenship training with evaluating the effectiveness of the topics discussed. DHS uses the information you provide to improve future USCIS-sponsored Teacher Training Seminars.
DISCLOSURE: The information you provide is voluntary. However, failure to provide the requested information may prevent USCIS from obtaining input from the public.
ROUTINE USES: DHS may share the information you provide on this form with other Federal, state, local, and foreign government agencies and authorized organizations. DHS follows approved routine uses described in the associated published system of records notices [DHS/ALL-003 Department of Homeland Security General Training Records], which you can find at www.dhs.gov/privacy. DHS may also share this information, as appropriate, for law enforcement purposes or in the interest of national security.
The questions included in the survey are intended to determine four main categories of information:
Demographic Information: A basic snapshot of the respondent that overlaps with the post-event evaluation, but is not identical.
Quality of Content: Questions about the effectiveness of the seminar sessions, and the respondent’s comprehension of the topics covered.
Frequency of Use: Questions that determine how frequently respondents use the activities and materials presented during the seminar, and USCIS materials in general.
Future Engagement: Questions that determine the likelihood of attending future trainings, and content and concepts that respondents would like to see developed as resources or covered at future events
