The structure of the burden
changed substantially with this submission and since ROCIS would
not allow us to delete the existing ICs, the titles and burden
associated with all previously approved ICs in ROCIS were amended
to match new IC burden table in question 12 of the Supporting
Statement. With this renewal, the revisions to the portal resulted
in an increase of 671,521 annual responses and 66,253 annual burden
hours. We consolidated and streamlined business processes based on
customer feedback to improve common data elements for reuse and
update with standard application interface program or imports. As a
result, we reduced portal modules from seven to three with data
elements and functionalities that allows for data sharing to lessen
the time responding. Specially, the respondents will maintain one
portal account and profile applied to various programs, events, and
opportunities. Furthermore, we expanded functionality to integrate
and coordinate data collection to avoid duplicative efforts. We
also changed the title of the collection from “Volunteer
Partnership Management” to “Natural and Cultural Resource Agencies
Customer Relationship Management” to more accurately reflect the
purpose of the collection.
