The burden increased due to
added hours for new pilot programs and privately developed crop
insurance programs under section 508(h) of the Act for malting
barley revenue, sugar cane, pecan trees, triticale, APH caneberry,
macadamia tree, dairy revenue protection. The number of crop
insurance agents and producers decreased with this package. Our
estimates are derived from the number of producers and agents
filling out that information. Since there were less producers and
agents, there is less burden because not as many respondents are
providing information. The increases and decreases within industry
resulted in an overall decrease in burden of 671,385 hours.
