Short Statement: There was a decrease in responses, 5,775, and hours, 2,072, due to an overall decrease in responses. Although the Agency on average received the same number of initial pre- applications since the last submission, subsequent required documents received decreased due to applicants not continuing the application process and current awardees no longer needing to submit documents. RD Form 1940-20 was made obsolete and replaced with the written “Environmental Report” when the Agency overhauled its environmental policies. This attributed to the decrease in burden.
