This ICR CHG is to address the terms
of clearance on the web-based data collection. This series analyzes
capital statutes and data on persons under sentence of death in
State and Federal correctional facilities. Information acquired
from this program provides historical trends and will be used as a
source of comparative data by BJS, Congress, journalists,
researchers, and other interested parties.
Fluctuations in the flow and
the population of inmates under sentence of death from one year to
the next will result in corresponding changes in the annual
response burden.
