The question regarding Foreign Gifts
is no longer needed on the Application for Approval to Participate
in Federal Student Aid Programs (e-App). A more comprehensive
questionnaire was created to capture that information (see new OMB
Control Number 1801-0006). The number of e-App submitted for
question 71 information only was minimal and the time to complete
the question was de minimus so we are not proposing a change in
burden hours. The number of e-Apps submitted for question 71
information only was minimal and the time to complete the question
was de minimus so we are not proposing a change in burden hours. We
continue to estimate burden at 7,286 responses for 24,352 burden
hours.
