TITLE OF INFORMATION COLLECTION: G323: Regional Office USPTO Visitor Survey

PURPOSE: To evaluate our customer service for walk-in visitors and one-on-one appointments and utilize the feedback collected to improve future experiences for walk-in visitors.

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONDENTS:

USPTO visitors (pro se inventors, small businesses, entrepreneurs, legal community, university and K-12 community) at any of the 5 regional offices.

The USPTO estimates that 100% of the surveys will be conducted electronically.

FEDERAL COST: The estimated annual cost to the Federal government is the combined average hourly rate of $53.00 per hour for a GS-13 step 3 + 15.90 (30%), which totals an hourly rate of $68.90. $68.90 * 18 hours = $1,240.

This survey will be given to public stakeholders visiting the regional office for information, assistance, and/or resources via a sign-in list. Those customers that shared an email will be sent the follow-up visitor satisfaction survey after their visit.
