FEMAâs Radiological Emergency Preparedness (REP) Program coordinates the National effort to provide State, Tribal and local governments with relevant and executable planning, training, technical assistance, exercise guidance, and policies necessary to ensure that adequate capabilities exist to prepare for, respond to, and recover from incidents involving commercial nuclear power plants (NPPs). The REP Program assists State, Tribal and local governments in the development and conduct of off-site emergency planning and preparedness activities within the emergency planning zones (EPZs) of Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC)-licensed commercial nuclear power facilities.
The intent of this request is the collection of comments on an extension, with change, of a currently approved information collection an OMB control number representing all information collections related to FEMA REP Program requirements described in 44 CFR parts 350 and 352.

The Licensee Request for Assistance under 44 CFR 352.4 (I think the 253.4 citation is a typo) is being removed as FEMA only receives zero or one responses in a year.
The Exercise Relief Request, 44 CFR 350.9(c) should have been added in the Change Request approved on 4/29/2021, but was not. I added it into ROCIS to fix the issue.
I also had to drop the number of respondents for each instrument to match our Supporting Statement, which was simply not highlighted.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that the collection of information encompassed by this request complies with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR 1320.8(b)(3).
The following is a summary of the topics, regarding the proposed collection of information, that the certification covers:
(i) Why the information is being collected;
(ii) Use of information;
(iii) Burden estimate;
(iv) Nature of response (voluntary, required for a benefit, or mandatory);
(v) Nature and extent of confidentiality; and
(vi) Need to display currently valid OMB control number;
If you are unable to certify compliance with any of these provisions, identify the item by leaving the box unchecked and explain the reason in the Supporting Statement.
