Abstract: The FAA will use this renewed collection to continue to monitor and evaluate the performance of awarded grants under the Fueling Aviation's Sustainable Transition (FAST) Grant Program. FAA is collecting information on technical progress, schedule, risks, and costs for each project. This information is collected via required performance reporting deliverables, including quarterly and publicly releasable annual reports and semi-annual review presentations. A team of subject matter experts in aircraft technology development and aviation fuels from the FAA and other government agencies review these deliverables. This collection is necessary to ensure proper oversight of the use of taxpayer funding and to provide transparency to the public in the form of public reports. The FAST Grant Program was established under P.L. 117-169.

Short Statement: The original collection included collecting proposals to a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO). That was a one-time NOFO. Now the only collection required concerns performance reporting by the selected grant recipients.
