The employer’s signature on the E-Verify MOU constitutes an information collection. E-Verify stores this information with the company’s user profile, as proof that the employer agreed to the terms and conditions of E-Verify use. In some cases, when potential employer misuse of E-Verify is discovered, E-Verify’s Monitoring and Compliance Branch may use the employer’s signature of the MOU to assist with correcting the misuse.
